a little bit about us

Hello, My name is Cayden Goodfellow, Owner & Operator here at Goody’s Stump Grinding. I started this business to help people keep their properties clear of brush, fallen branches, and those pesky old stumps they keep having to mow around so that they can have a clear, level yard ready for landscaping or just everyday use. I believe in honest work, fair pricing and making sure every customer is happy with their results.

STUMP GRINDING

Stump grinding is a service that uses a powered machine, called a stump grinder, with a rotating cutting wheel & sharp teeth to reduce a tree stump into small wood chips. It grinds the stump & surface roots 4-6 inches below grade, allowing for easy lawn care, less tripping hazard, improved aesthetics, and the prevention/reduction of pests. This efficient method is generally quicker and less destructive to the surrounding landscape than full stump removal.

BRUSH REMOVAL

Brush removal is an important task for maintaining healthy and safe landscapes. Removing brush can help prevent the spread of pests, as well as reduce fire risk by removing flammable vegetation. It can also improve the appearance of a property by removing overgrown or unsightly bushes and shrubs.

  • We offer a few things at the moment. Our main service is stump grinding! But we also offer brush removal. We are hoping to take care of your firewood needs in the fall, whether you need it for bonfires or to heat your home throughout the winter. More info will become available closer to the fall!
